This 40 ton traditional wooden motor sailor was built in 1996 in the Southeast Aegean Sea. She is more than 20 metres long and 5,45 meters wide, allowing ample living space for a small group of ten - 13 passengers of all ages. Suitable for sailing long distances, Anatolie and her crew have sailed the entire Mediterranean and as far as the Canary Islands in the Atlantic.
Completely renovated in 2014 and 2015 (new Master cabins, new engines, air-conditioning in all cabins) ANATOLIE is a wooden ketch registered as professional touristic sailing boat by the Greek Authorities.
For this reason she is allowed to sail with winds 6 Beaufort and stronger unlike other professional touristic boats, and the sails are not just for show! ANATOLIE has two heavy duty marine engines and around 200 square meter sails. There is a tender with Yamaha outboard engine, autopilot, 2 VHF, 2 GPS and the electronic standard equipment. There is 220 AC to charge any telephone, camera or MP3 player. Of course there is an electric fridge, 2000 liters water tanks and hot water. There is
snorkeling equipment on board, some fishing lines, and the possibility to connect your MP3 player on the yacht stereo. There
is a sunbathing area with sun beds and 3G-WIFI on board (free for email use, not for movies download).
Anatolie can accommodate between 10-13 people in 5 en-suite cabins (2 standard double cabins, 3 triple master cabins (double bed and single bunk, ideal for children). The best arrangement is for no more than 8-10 adults with children only sharing triple cabins.
The bow has deckchairs for tanning or relaxing. The stern has a large removable table. The stern can also be set up for cocktails, dancing or karaoke. An interior den is also at your disposal. This yacht can also be chartered with Motorsailer Irina, for double group bookings.
Captain / crew
Your captain, Alexandre from France, speaks Greek and dances the zeibekiko, but also speaks English and a little Italian. His father is of Greek origin, from a lost island in the southern Aegean. There is also a chef / sailor on board to help out with meals and sailing.
Anatolie sails in the Cyclades in Spring and Autumn andin the Ionian in July and August to avoid the meltemi winds.
Sailing area : Cyclades in May, June, September and October. Ionian or Sporades islands in July and August (for these islands we provide transfers from Athens Airport).
IONIAN ISLANDS CRUISE
Transfer from Athens Airport on Saturday (meeting at 4:30pm) then boarding in the evening in Messolongi (close to Patras).
Return transfer the following Saturday with arrival at Athens Airport before 1pm.
There are many beautiful places in the area and Ionian offer generally excellent sailing conditions in July and August, and very calm weather, for those who aspire to a peaceful cruise in diaphanous waters.
In the middle of the day we anchor generally in a nice cove (lunch on board), swimming and snorkeling, and then we sail to the next Island harbor in the afternoon where you are free to explore and have dinner. We also stop and spend two nights on anchor in a nice bay, under the stars...
