2019 CRUISE PROGRAMME
Day 1 - FRIDAY / MARINA ZEA (ATHENS) - POROS
Embarkation between 2-3 pm. Enjoy a welcome drink and meet your crew and fellow passengers. Sail for Poros for a short 3 hours visit, before set sail to Poliegos. Overnight at sea.
Day 5 - TUESDAY - DELOS (anchorage) - MYKONOS
Optional morning tour to the unique archaeological site of Delos, antiquity’s most sacred island. Later on, we stop at one of Mykonos beautiful bays for swimming off the ship before sailing into the port of Mykonos. The island of the jet setters is yours to explore and the night is young. Overnight in Mykonos.
Day 2 - SATURDAY - POLIEGOS - FOLEGANDROSMorning arrival in Poliegos, a very small island known for its amazing beaches. Morning swim stop followed by a BBQ on deck. Afternoon sailing to Folegandros, one of the most amazing and less known islands in the Aegean Sea. Walk the amazing Upper city, and have the possibility to taste delicacies at traditional Greek tavernas. Overnight in Folegandros.
Day 6 - WEDNESDAY - SYROS
After a morning swim we will arrive in Syros, the capital of the Cycladic islands where you can enjoy one of its beautiful sandy beaches or walk through town and enjoy the unique architecture of the buildings. Overnight in Syros.
Day 3 - SUNDAY - SANTORINI
Early in the morning depart for Santorini. Morning arrival at Santorini (occasionally at anchor) to explore its unique capital Fira. Optional Excursion to Akrotiti excavations and a tour of the villages including the small beautiful village of Oia known for its breathtaking view over the caldera. Overnight in Santorini
Day 7 - THURSDAY - KYTHNOS - CAPE SOUNIO - MARINA ZEA
In the morning we will arrive in Kythnos where you will enjoy a swim in Kolones bay and will then set sail for Marina Zea where we will arrive in the late afternoon via Cape Sounion, the temple of Poseidon. Captain's farewell dinner and overnight in Marina Zea.
Day 4 - MONDAY - ANTI-PAROS - PAROS
In the morning you will enjoy a swim stop in an enchanting bay of Antiparos. Early noon arrival in Paros. Visit Parikia and the quaint village of Naoussa. Time to have a fun night and show us your dancing skills during our famous Greek Night. Overnight in Paros.
DAY 8 - FRIDAY - MARINA ZEA / ATHENS
Disembarkation after breakfast (8-9 a.m.)

The MotorSailer GALILEO
The 51 meter M/S Galileo is a classic steel hull motor sailer, with spacious and well appointed interiors renovated in 2007. The Galileo is always sailing under motors. Sails are occasionally used when weather and route allow.
Life on Board
On the main deck, a lounge area with an American bar leads into a warm and elegant dining room finished with wood and leather. Guests on Galileo enjoy the most, a shaded outdoor deck area with an outdoor bar and the ship’s sun deck equipped with sun beds and deckchairs.
The M/S Galileo’s 26 outside guest cabins are located on the Lower and the Upper Deck all with large windows or portholes. Elegantly decorated, they have either twin or queen sized beds and bathrooms with showers en suite. All cabins are fully air-conditioned and offer storage space and radio music controls.
Following a significant renovation that represented an investment of US$ 1.2 million, the 3-masted M/S Galileo rejoined the Cruise fleet to operate in Greece & the Greek Islands
The renovation works of the 25-cabin/49-passenger M/S Galileo took place between November 2015- March 2016 and included significant upgrading of the guest accommodations as well as the indoor & outdoor public areas.
The Indoor Bar & Lounge and Dining area at the Main deck was completely renovated with re-upholstered furniture, soft fabrics, and new wood flooring and carpet design.
All 16 Lower deck cabins (Category B and C) were completely transformed to feature wood paneling, new wallpaper and new carpet design. The lower deck guest hallway has been completely renovated to feature wood paneling, new wallpaper & new carpet flooring.
All 25 cabins of the M/S Galileo received new bedding and furniture, new soft fabrics, and are now equipped with Flat-screen TVs and a mini-fridge.
New decking has been installed on the Sundeck, and all sun loungers, cushions and fabrics have been replaced with new.

Cruise fares are per person and week and include:
Accommodation in double or twin cabins with private SH/WC & air conditioning
Half - board: American buffet breakfast and one main meal daily, including a Welcome Cocktail, a Greek Night , fun BBQ (weather permitting) and Captain's Dinner.
Regular (filter) coffee, tea and still mineral water free all day.
Use of fishing and snorkelling equipment (subject to availability).

Itineraries can be changed at the discretion of the cruise operator and of the Vessel's Captain in case of adverse weather conditions - winds of 6/7 beaufort or more depending on the vessel- on port authorities not allowing a vessel to leave port or in case of other extraordinary conditions. Such itinerary changes do not entitle automatically passengers to any refunds but the cruise company guarantees that passengers are disembarked at the advertised port of disembarkation on time for their flights.
All in all a fantastic trip. We are just back, as we stopped in Amsterdam before returning, and will give more detailed feedback once we get settled in to this time zone again. We hope we have some fabulous photos to share.
