Crewed yachts/Crewed Motorsailers Greece

m/s Almyra

Almyra is a classic traditional motorsailer, available for charter in Greece, suitable for 10-12 guests and serviced by a professional crew of 4. Look no further for idyllic cruises in the Greek islands.

Almyra is a for-charter 25-meter (83 ft) motor sailing yacht built in January 1997 and renovated in 2020 to a very high standard.

Almyra is a motor sailing yacht with an exceptional construction and unique design that combines a magnificent traditional Aegean wooden hull with modern sailing equipment and 400m2 sail area. Almyra sails at a cruising speed of 10 knots and offers the flexibility to enjoy the perfect sailing or motor cruising holiday in Greece tailor-made to your desire.

Almyra’s large master suite and four double luxurious cabins with ensuite showers can comfortably accommodate twelve guests, while its professionally skilled crew of four (Captain, Chef, Deckhand and Steward), accommodated in totally separate quarters with own facilities, guarantees exceptional service and an unforgettable travel experience. Almyra’s crew remains the same this summer following the extremely positive feedback that we received from our past guests.

The exceptionally wide saloon with rosewood and blue leather interior offers a lounging area with large windows, which ensure a bright daytime environment. A fully equipped bar and a dining area in the lower deck offer further space for refreshing cocktails and more formal dining. The aft deck is ideal for all al fresco luncheons shaded by full awing, or a romantic dinner under the stars. Our chef will serve you delicious meals of local specialities or your personal favourites. Foredeck, Almyra has an excellent design offering a raised sunning area for privacy and comfort, with many mattresses for sunbathing or stretching out with a book. Almyra is fully air-conditioned and equipped with TV and all the latest electronic and navigational equipment.

A brand new entertainment system has been installed that offers the ability to Almyra’s guest to connect to the boat’s central stereo system  and enjoy their favourite music at their cabins and/or at the main deck and saloon.

For the more active Almyra offers water ski, jet ski, kayak, water toys, snorkelling and fishing facilities with a 4.2 meter tender with 50hp engine.

These are small dishes, which are a precursor to the main meal. You may have a dozen saucers, each with a small portion of a particularly delicacy. Getting the right combination of these dishes is as crucial as the recipes themselves because a good spread of mezedes is all about balance.

Crab claws stewed with muscat wine
Octopus in red wine
Stuffed vine leaves
Pan-fried cheese
Spicy courgette fritters
Grilled aubergines with lemon pesto

The term Greek salad is one of the most abused in the world. Greece has a large range of interesting and novel salads

Spinach salad with yogurt
Greek salad
Salad of mixed greens, black eyed bean and plum tomatoes

Larger more substantial dishes that provide a balance of tasted and textures in themselves

Fresh fish grilled or in wine sauce
Pasta with fresh lobster
Baked lobster
Roast chicken with yogurt
Crispy wrapped prawns
Poached rack of lamb with fennel
Minced lamb, kebab style

As well as the traditional, honeyed pastrywork with its strong middle -eastern influences here are some new and quite ambitious dishes.

Hot chocolate crepes
Chocolate mousse
Creme brulle
Greek galaktoboureko
Caramel and hazelnut tarts
