Yacht charter sailing in Greece - Harmony 47 - 2006

(Layout diagram shows owner's version. Our version
has 4 cabins, 2 toilets, optional double bed in saloon, regular main
sail, battens, lazy bag, roller Genoa, autopilot (Autohelm 6001),
bow thruster, GPS plotter (C80), Wind / depth instruments, dinghy,
outboard (3.5 HP), shore power, battery charger, long keel).
Two years of designing have given the architects and our design
practice the time to set up innovative solutions with very successful
design. The straight bow and fine water entry bottom ensure performance
and easy passage in chop. The discreet roof combines elegance and
generous below-beam height. The ergonomic Cockpit with exceptional
size has teak-covered seats and two deep lateral chests as well
as chests at the back. A detachable toe-rail means the entire crew
can be well attached to the list. The shut transom ensures the crew's
safety at sea and confers the boats an elegant and timeless silhouette.
The central part of the helmsman's seat can easily tilt backwards
and be transformed into a bathing platform with a comfortable stainless
steel ladder whose size has yet to be equalled. The washboard rails
and originally designed cleats ensure perfect safety for the catwalk,
from which water can stream faster. The dolphin nose, part of the
stem specially designed for the Harmony range, means the anchor
can easily be positioned whilst protecting the hull with a bobstay.
A tack point for asymetrical spinnaker can be found. The helm console
includes all the electronics, the control panel and the engine switch.

The engine is not only there to replace the sails but also to produce
electricity and hot water that are necessary to comfort on board.
We selected latest generation Volvo diesel engines that are powerful,
sober and quiet, with large fuel reservoirs that ensure an outstanding
autonomy and better navigation comfort.
The reliable treeline transmission grants a non-sinking of the
reversing switch and limits the risk of watertightness loss which
are sometimes encountered on sail-drive installations.
We have specially designed the accessibility and sound insulation
of the engine compartment by choosing insulation foams that are
among the best.
An elegant mixture of white-lacquered partitions and of golden
woodwork
suggests open and unpartitioned spaces and warm and bright volumes.
The Harmony are the first standard boats to be equipped with single-piece
partitions which reinforce the structure's rigidity.
Large-volumed cupboards, wardrobes and well-aired shelving ensure
a high standard of comfort.
Large doors allow for easy circulation.
Ventilation holes have been drilled into the pale yellow birch furniture
fronts and are surrounded with aluminium edge rolls.
The pale synthetic stone single-piece kitchen working surface includes
a sink, a drainer, a storage compartment, a bin and a refrigerator
door.
The bathrooms have been completely remoulded for an easier maintenance
and
perfect watertightness include large storage spaces, a synthetic
stone pedestal sink which favours access to the valves and a shower
seat. Our boats are standardly equipped with a black water reservoir,
in anticipation of the future and desired regulations for the preservation
of the environment.
The chart table is a veritable navigation space and possesses many
drawers and storage spaces, as well as a large bookshelf. Just like
on large sailboats, a swivelling seat made of moulded wood on a
stainless steel stand means the user can work comfortably.
The wooden staircase is wide and reassuringly safe. The steps are
covered with anti-skidding strips and there is an aluminium hand
rail on each side of the staircase.
