Eco Sailing and Diving holidays in Greece
Discover the unique wildlife and nature of the Aegean and Ionian
Seas! Join a team of environmentalists on an exciting journey through
the waters that surround the largest coastline in Europe...
Mystic Blue was inspired by a team of sailors, divers, biologists
and environmentalists who were brought together due to their love
of the sea and nature.
Their primary objective is the study and protection of the marine
world and the raising of public awareness on environmental issues.
They have formed a series of eco activities involving sailing, diving
and exploring unique species in order to support their work the
rest of the year.

When Tahita is not chartered, the team sail around cleaning beaches,
recycling or giving a helping hand to researchers and organisations
in their efforts to study and protect the environment and wild life.
The sailing boat Tahita and her crew invite you to experience an
unforgettable journey of discovery.
You'll discover deserted beaches, species that don't exist anywhere
else in the globe, islands that don't appear on any map and secret
doors that lead to a Mediterranean ''reality'' not mentioned in any
travel agency brochure or the Lonely Planet!
Whether you enjoy relaxing on deck with a cold drink... feeling the
wind and trimming the sails... getting into the unspoilt lifestyle
of the islanders... exploring the underwater life or spotting sperm
whales and dolphins... you'll experience what you're looking for!
Discover
the unique wild life and nature of the Greek islands and participate
in our efforts to protect and support the local environment.
Celebrities under extinction like the sea turtle Caretta caretta,
the seal Monachus monachus, and endemic species like the Milos Wall
Lizard Podarcis milensis and the Milos Viper Macrovipera hanschweizeri
are waiting for you to discover them and aid their survival.
Whale and dolphin spotting, trekking through untouched paths exploring
unique species, applying simple ecology methods to field, are only
a few of the activities in which you could participate during this
sailing trip. Under the guidance of an experienced team of biologists
you will be introduced to the tens of endemic species, both from the
animal and plant kingdoms, which exist only in this small corner of
the globe...
while sailing and relaxing on beautiful bays enjoying
the Greek sun and local island life.

Dr. Panayiots
Pafilis will introduce you to the mysteries of the Aegean
Sea. Having participated in many researches in the area, Panayiotis
is the ideal person to open for you the mystic doors to the
wild life of the Aegean, ''the Archipelago of species''.

Ionian Tour
12 - 19 September & 19 - 26 September
2009
Two weeks dedicated to endangered species and rare representatives
of both the animal and plant kingdoms are what this Mystic Blue
project is all about. Our biologist Dr.
Panayiotis Pafilis, specialised in the fauna of the Mediterranean,
will be our guide through this amazing journey of evolution.
Tahita will set course for the area of depths up to 2,000m
in the west Ionian Sea, at a place where sperm whales Physeter
macrocephalus gather to forage the giant squid. With the
aid of our hydrophone we'll try to listen to their magical voices
and track them down.
Panayiotis has chosen the islands where we'll be anchoring
in between our whale spotting in accordance to the uniqueness
of their wildlife. He'll introduce you to a variety of species
like birds, reptiles, marine invertebrates and mammals as well
as the local fairy tales of places unspoilt by modern way of
life.
You're welcome to join us and participate in our project either
for one or two weeks
(Please contact us to request the detailed itinerary).

ideal journey for you.
The skipper is highly experienced and happy to adjust the trip according
to what you are looking for in your holiday, of course, if the weather
and other external factors beyond his control permit it. And never
forget that those ''unexpected'' surprises can often be the highlight
of your trip!

cliffs, caves, walls reefs... traces of ancient civilizations... and

The Yacht
TAHITA Sun Kiss 45
The Sun Kiss 45 is one of the most exceptional and elegant classical
models created by Jeanneau, known and recognised for its strength
and sailing capabilities, for sailing as well as cruising the world
over.
Tahita can accommodate 10 people in its 4 double cabins and skipper
cabin. There are 2 toilets/showers and a stern shower on the diving
platform. In order to guarantee the maximum space and comfort for
our guests, we take up to 6 people each time, while keeping the cost
at a minimum.
The overall interior finish is of very high quality with genuine
teak woodwork and ''solid wood'' mouldings. There is ample headroom
in its double cabins and the entry is nice and free of clutter. The
yacht has double ventilators, good stowage shelves and hanging lockers.
All of this contributes to the comfort of those aboard.
The lateral beaming of the coachroof gives a particular character
to the saloon which hails back to the days of wooden construction
with beaming extending from the floor beams. The double series of
horizontal screens offer exceptional lighting.
Our cockpit is spacious and comfortable. There is ample space on
the teak deck for you to lie down and sunbathe.
