CREW PROFILE
Owner, Captain , Engineer & Passenger Liaison
. Chris Archer
Chris started his 33 year career at sea when he joined the
British Royal Navy in 1977. After serving for 14 years in the Navy
he left to start
his own company acting as a consultant for companies such as P &
O, Costa and
Orient Lines carrying out ship inspections and staff training. Qualified
as a
Yachtmaster (Ocean) Chris has spent a lot of time sailing craft in
the Caribbean,
the Western Mediterranean, the Far East and around the British Isles.
Chris is
married with 2 grown up children. Chris has a long held interest in
ancient
civilisations and archaeology but at present most of his spare time
is dedicated to
looking after Zora!
First Officer . George Ravdou
George completed his studies at the Greek Naval
Academy in Aspropirgos prior to spending over 20 years working at
sea. Working
for such companies as Blue Star Ferries & Hellenic Sea ways George
gained much
experience working with all types of vessels up to 100,000 tons, including
high
speed Catamarans, Flying Dolphins and Large passenger Ferries. George
is
married with 2 children and in his leisure time enjoys sailing, sea
fishing, scuba
diving and water skiing.
Executive Chef Vincent Archer
Brother of the owner Chris, Vincent studied as a Chef in
the United Kingdom in the early 1980fs before working in a variety
of posts over
the years in Hotels, restaurants and latterly holiday hotels in European
resorts
including the Greek Islands. Vincent is single and has a variety of
leisure pursuits
as diverse as travel photography and radio controlled aircraft!
Assistant Chef & Steward. Maria Bodouri
Maria has spent 10 years working in Greek Tavernas and
Restaurants before moving on to work on Yachts for the last 3 years.
Maria is
married with 1 child and when asked about leisure activities, she
said that after
work, all her time is spent looking after her family!
